We’re just two girls with a keen interest in food – cooking, shopping, learning and devouring. During one balmy evening in Provence, after too much food and too much wine, we decided to start a blog to not only keep in touch with each other – as Sandra is based in California and Kathy in Spain, but to be able to remember and share travel stories, recipes, photos and ideas that happen along the way.

I am thoroughly enjoying reading your blog as well, super recipes and posts – reminds me of every time my mother sat my sisters and myself down at the kitchen table to insistently teach us how to properly wrap dumplings. We still haven’t nailed it quite yet as she so easily spots the ones that have burst open. The idea of a global blog is great… keep us in mind if you ever need a Spain correspondent!

Sandra is in LA, but small world that you’re in Santa Clara. I used to live in North San Jose – the best banh mi I’ve ever had was at a hole in the wall place next to the Great Mall.
